Save Casio AP24 Digital Home Piano
My wife and I have been wanting to buy a piano for a long time but due to cost and transportation issues it has not been feasible. We have been looking at electronic pianos but it is difficult to find one that doesn't look like a glorified boom box, or that has a full keyboard with realistic action, or one that doesn't sound electric. For the price this has been a very satisfying experience.
As we just got it a month ago its a little too early to know how it will hold up. A drawback of being portable is that the removable stand is made of particle board. It has been my experience with such furniture that it does not hold up in the long run. Especially since the pedals are attached to this it has me a bit concerned. There is a small adjustable pad below the pedals to give support, however. As the keyboard portion is entirely removable from the base, if it does start to show wear we will likely have a new base built for it. This is also a nice feature since it makes transportation much easier than a full upright piano.
The feel of the keyboard action is quite nice, and the volume is reactive to the force placed on the keys. The piano tones are quite realistic with little to no noticeably electronic quality to them. One range of keys (approximately the 2nd to lowest octave) has a more noticeable electronic sound quality but I don't feel that it is noticeable enough to detract from the overall quality much.Get more detail about Casio AP24 Digital Home Piano.
