We got this unit to allow the children to learn to play the piano. We are fortunate to have an instructor who comes to the house. It worked right out of the box without much set up. To my completely untrained ears it sounds like a real piano. It's sturdy and professional looking and has quite a few buttons we've yet to explore. The headphones are a mother's dream! The different tones and songs are a blast for the children. We've had lots of dance parties. It was a good price for our budget.
