I bought this keyboard as a nice present for a friend that "fell in love" with the LK-100 she saw at Sam's Club for $150 (keyboard only). I looked online and found out Casio has four keyboards in the lighted (and affordable) LK line: LK-100, LK-220, LK-230, and LK-270. Having never seen any of these keyboards in person, I agonized about which one to get and finally picked this one because the speakers seemed to look the coolest, even though on my laptop, they are all only the size of my thumb. I'm very glad I chose this one, because a few weeks later, I saw the other keyboards in person, and this one is the only one that looks like an instrument instead of a toy. I taught myself to play the piano many years ago, and this lighted teaching method is way, way better. Plus, it was only $50 more than the LK-100, but also included the keyboard stand ($30-$50 value), power adapter (at least $20), and headphones ($10-$20). If you didn't already know, power adapters are usually not included with most keyboards, and who wants to buy 6 D-size batteries that run out in a few hours?
