Yamaha YDP223 Digital Home Piano Get it now!
This is a good digital piano. It sounds good, looks good and feels good. Its an older model (was originally released in 2002) but it's still popular today which is why Yamaha has kept it around. It's popular for a reason, it's good.
This piano is for someone who wants a good sounding piano but doesn't want to break the bank. It's also for someone who wants to practice or learn or has kids that are learning.
The only thing I wish it had were more recording options but that's not a fault of the design. It is not built for recording or studio use and it's not very portable so don't expect to haul this to a gig. There are better pianos built for that.
I used to have a real old 1930's stand up grand piano but I wanted to go digital. There were a couple bugs with the old piano and I wanted all the advantages of a digital piano like, no tuning ever again, less space, recording capability, can practice with headphones and not annoy others, volume control, and extra instruments.
Most average pianos found in peoples homes today will not sound as great as this piano. I notice a huge difference when playing someone's acoustic family piano, this digital piano sounds better and is actually tuned! The 'action' or the feel of the weighted keys is something this piano doesn't do as well as a real piano. A real piano has more authentic action than all digital pianos but this one still has decent action.Get more detail about Yamaha YDP223 Digital Home Piano.
